Ryan Stevenson is again bringing together a community of people building physical products and hardware across Boise.
Who's it for?
A community of people building physical products and hardware across Boise. From designers, founders, engineers, investors, and more, everyone is welcome!
Our team attended the inaugural Boise Hardware Meetup, and we connected with seasoned hardware developers, those just starting out, and the curious. The MaRCTech2 team was so impressed by the community of people building physical products and hardware across Boise. From designers, founders, engineers, investors, and more!
In a nutshell... our team said: "More!"
Attendees are always encouraged to bring any prototypes or fun projects they're working on to share with the group.
Oliver MacDonald
Oliver is a mentor for the Bender Autonomous Robotic Systems Team & Class at Boise State, helping develop a fully autonomous lunar mining robot for NASA’s Lunabotics Challenge. The class provides students the opportunity to not only learn about designing autonomous systems but also gives them the resources and tools they need to develop their designs over a one-year period. Our broader goal is to provide students with the opportunity to experience the full lifecycle of engineering a complex system, just as a professional company would.
Mason Whitt
Mason is a Principal at Capital Eleven, an early-stage venture fund based in Boise, backing ambitious entrepreneurs in Idaho and beyond.

About the Host Location
SGW Designworks creates hardware that endures. They do it with a team of unicorns - unique individuals that can lead and execute challenging development projects in a transparent and collaborative way. After all, the products they develop need to drive profits for the companies that hire them.
SGW Designworks clients are interested in growing their businesses by developing and launching new products. But their teams are stretched thin, or they don't have the specific expertise in-house to successfully turn their development pipeline into launched products.
The SGW Designworks team consists of design and engineering professionals with a range of backgrounds including ID, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, manufacturing engineering, and more. Clients that work with SGW Designworks can lean on their manufacturing/supply chain relationships.
SGW Designworks clients realize the most value when they engage in an ongoing relationship, becoming an extension of their own teams. Discover how SGW Designworks accelerates product development for your business. https://sgwdesignworks.com
