### **How to get detailed PN‑level mapping**

For each PN you care about, you can:

1. **Use the Curtis cross‑reference tool** 
     - Go to the Curtis “**[Terminal Block Cross Reference Lookup Tool](https://www.curtisind.com/terminal-block-cross-reference/)**.”
     - Enter the EOL part number in the competitor field; the tool will return the closest Curtis equivalent, including family, pitch, poles, ratings, and any caveats (e.g., footprint only, electrical equivalent, or “call factory”).
2. **Collect the key technical parameters** 
     - Identify the series type (barrier, PCB, DIN), pitch, poles, voltage/current, insulation material, flammability class, approvals (UL, CSA), and wire entry angle.
     - From Curtis: the same parameters for the suggested equivalent.
     - This lets you validate whether the Curtis part is a true drop‑in (form/fit/function) or only form/fit or functionally similar.
3. **Create an internal EOL/replacement table** 
     - Build a spreadsheet with columns: PN,  series, status (Active/EOL), last‑time‑buy date (if known from or distribution), Curtis PN, differences (pitch, creepage/clearance, agency approvals, temperature rating), and comments.
